The 'magic smoke' has been let out of my motherboard, I suspect a faulty power supply to be at well, fault.


And my headphones have a loose connection so I am only getting the right channel of sound unless the wires are in the right position, which only adds to my vexation.

So, anyone have any suggestions as to what I should get for my new computer.

The current assigned maximum budget (without case or windows, I know what I want with them) is roughly $3400

I will need new Mobo, CPU, RAM, graphics card, DVD burner, a single new hard drive and a PSU capable of running 12 hard drives and 2 DVD drives.
